Handover of Amel50 - Liberty II

The day of handover was expected to be on 18th of July 2020, but thanks to Covid lockdowns at spring, the delivery was postponed by 3 months.

The new delivery date was set for 12th of October 2020. This prolongation caused, that we missed the summer on our new boat. But there are worse things happening.

Amel gives one week of their people to manage the handover. This means every working day, there is some program for 3-5 hours, such as Boat exterior, Boat interior, Engine room, Electricity, Maneuvering etc.

We spent two weeks in La Rochelle before France went again into lockdown, so we did not have enough time to enjoy our new family member.

But there will be times when we will enjoy her enough 😊
