Liberty is ready for 2018

Long time we did not post any update. Our boat Liberty was in Trapani in wet dock. At the end of March I decided to come to see her, do some preparation, inside cleaning, teak oiling and the main thing, which was to check and clean the bottom.

For this service I used Trapani harbour, where is nice lift, cool people who helped me to clean the bottom and to replace anodes. I bought accidentally wrong role cutter which does not fit my propeler, so I have to replace it with the right one.

For the the teak oiling I used brand International. This is quite precise work, because you should not oil the black silicon. One last thing I had to do is quite useless, but I wanted to check the temperature functionality of my Simarine Pico+ display. I installed one sensor into the saloon, another to engine room and last one to the cockpit. This gives me enough control about the temperature except water temperature of the sea. 

I do not like to create holes into the boat, so this parameter will have to be measured by putting finger into the sea :)
